Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
As the first dentist in his family, Dr. Ariel never imagined dentistry would be his calling. However, his path changed when he met a cosmetic dentist during his college years. Invited to shadow at the dentist's office, Dr. Ariel was captivated by the profound compassion, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional clinical expertise required for top-tier dentistry. This transformative experience ignited his passion and inspired him to embark on a fulfilling journey as a dentist.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Ariel graduated with honors from Touro College with a degree in Psychology. He then went on to get his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Touro College of Dental Medicine, where he received the prestigious Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for his outstanding achievement and excellence in cosmetic dentistry. After graduating from dental school with honors, Dr. Ariel completed a post-graduate residency program at NYU Langone.
Like Dr. Mohr, Dr. Ariel is an avid believer in continuing education. His primary focus has been on cosmetic dentistry, composite dentistry, dental implants, comprehensive orthodontics, full mouth rehabilitation, root canal treatment, and dental photography. Dr. Ariels advanced skills in today’s cutting-edge technology are a welcome addition to Dr. Mohr’s 40-plus years of experience.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When Dr. Ariel is not involved in creating incredible smiles, he can be found cooking up a storm and smoking meats back home, jamming out on his guitar, or chasing after his three energetic children at the park with his wonderful wife. Other than treating pearly whites, writing and playing music is one of his great passions. Fun fact: he has recorded songs professionally and even wrote the song for his wife to walk down the aisle during their wedding!
